UCI Pro Road Racing Starts NOW - UCI Schedule released

Its been a long time but seems like we are getting back to some racing as the UCI Road Race season gets underway today with the Strade Bianchi one day event.

The Strade Bianchi is a tough event held on the white chaulky roads of Tuscanny Italy. Even though it has only been around for approximately 15 years, the race has earned its reputation as a seriously difficult event. Being the restart of the season, in mid-summer, means it is going to be hot on the Italian roads and that will throw another unknown factor into the mix.

With so much disruption in the season this year due to the pandemic the teams have been schuffling their riders around in an attempt to get some racing into the legs of their upcoming Vuelta and Tour De France hopefuls.

In a normal season there are enough racing to split the squads into several simultaneously held events, this years compressed season means every race will be stacked to the gills with top talent and the pace is going to hurt. But if you took a poll of racers, we bet that everyone would be thrilled to get in as much racing as it looks like we are going to get.

Eurosport is televising the race, but we have yet to find somewhere that you can watch it for free in the states. We did find several bike websites that wanted to extort money out of you to watch it if your willing to shell out $150 for an annual pass.
