Arizona has traditionally been the kick off for mountain bike racers across the country with its generally mild winter climate. And 2013 will be no exception as the Mountain Bike Association of Arizona present the McDowell Mtn Meltdown as the first race in their 6 race series.

McDowell Mtn Park, which has hosted many a US national MTB race is a staple in the Arizona series which accomodates all ages of riders and all skill levels. The MBAA prides itself on developing new riders as well as fielding a super tough pro class as many of the nations top riders train in Arizona in the winter.

The Series travels from the far south of the state and concludes in Flagstaff for the championships which is always a challenging but course.
