Enduro Racing in Arizona and Surrounding spots

If you have been lookng for some enduro racing or just enduro trails in Arizona, look, not further. As the premier mountain bike series in Arizona, the MBAA is ready to get you out there. Whether you are new to enduro racing or mountain biking in general and want to find out where you can test your skills. Read on...and, get your calendars ready to get these dates on you device!

The MBAA is planning for a 3 race enduro series come this fall. Fingers crossed for monsoon rains and minimal fire season.

Fall 2021 Enduro Schedule (Tentative)

  • September 11-12th - Flagstaff (not put on by MBAA, but included in series)
  • October 3rd - Sunrise (backup/alternate Mingus)
  • October 31st - Tucson

The Forest Service has lifted their group site restrictions (as of May 1) and has begun reviewing permits. Some of the Forest Service staff is on fire assignment so it will likely be a few months before we get final approval.

There is shaping up to be a fair number of other enduro events relatively close to Arizona this fall due to spring events rescheduling.

  • 9/ 18-19 - BME in Brian Head, Utah
  • 9/ 23-26 - Fox Open in Big Bear, CA
  • 10/ 7-10 - Sea Otter Classic
  • 11/ 12-14 - Sedona Mountain Bike Festival
We are trying to not conflict with these enduro events along with the high school mountain bike races, but we know there are events in other disciplines happening around our scheduled enduro's (Tour of the White Mountains, Mt. Lemmon Gravel Grinder).

Sunrise Ski Resort
  • Sunrise will be open for riding Thursday - Sunday's from 9:00 - 4:00.
  • The hotel remains closed, but there are cabins in Greer and Forest Service camping nearby.
Other Places to Ride this Summer
  • Pinal Mountains in Globe (Six Shooter Canyon)
  • Deadhorse State Park in Cottonwood
  • Coyote Pass in Kingman
  • Mt. Graham in Safford
