UPDATE With several thousand miles put in since the fitting, I can report that the shoes are performing better than I hoped. The shoes breath, hold your heal in place, are ridiculously comfortable and by simply pushing my heal down I can get a blast of cool air through the sole of the shoe. With the custom fit, the R-300 are more comfortable than my trusty favorites were at their best - and those were the best shoes in that brands line-up. Would I recommend these??? An emphatic YES says it all.
