Mavic Crossmax Enduro Shoe - Video Review

Reviewed - The MAVIC Crossmax Enduro shoe

It seems like all anyone wanted to talk about last year was the explosion of Enduro riding. And in every picture you saw it seemed like all you saw was pro Enduro riders all over the world sporting the HI-vis yellow Cross Max Enduro Shoe. It was impossible to miss with their bright colors.

And that was not because of luck. Mavic worked hand in hand with both Jerome Clementz and Fabien Barel to produce one of the industries first Enduro specific shoes.  And by that I mean a shoe that be comfortably worn for long days while at the same time being able to offer good pedal efficiency, and, it needed to be able to take abuse while not being too bulky.

What they came up with in 2015 is a complete lineup of shoes specifically for enduro racing and all day mountain bike rides.

The shoes feature

  • Ergo Lite Ratchet locks the foot in place
  • Trail Grip Outsole Contagrip® gives an optimal grip for all terrain all day long
  • Ergo Tongue and Ergo Fit OrthoLite® gives a softer, more cushioned fit
  • 3D breathable mesh keeps the foot cooler and drier
  • Higher volume fit
  • Ergo Lite Toe Cap for light protection and support Mid ankle protection with perforated neoprene
  • Toe and heel protection
  • Lace cover
  • EVA mid-sole

Available in both Black and signature  Hi-Yellow

MSRP $189.95 USD - available at better IBD's or at www.mavic.com
