Kali Adds New Enduro Helmet

Kali Brings new crash cushion technology to Enduro Scene with the Maya

Kali Helmets has brought their first Enduro specific helmet to the market for 2015. The images and video here are the first photos of the Maya - a deep coverage helmet that continues Kali's industry leading innovation of rider protection. The Maya uses a combination of cone shaped multi-density EPS, paired with a softer density foam around the head.

This combination of materials allows Kali to use their lowest foam density ever. While helmets typically utilize a foam density between 100-120 g per cubit liter, the density in the Maya is around 70 g. The benefit to using this softer foam is that it dissipates impacts faster and more efficiently.

Which is why the Maya incorporates things like an integrated camera and light mount and a break resistant moto style visor. Other features include an anti-microbial liner with bug netting, our floating dual closure system for easy adjustments, and twelve vents with internal channeling for great ventilation.

Having personally tested most all of the Kali helmets and even squirrel tested their full face DH helmet at full speed, I am more than confident that the Maya will deliver the goods at the highest level. Better yet, the price to value proposition that Kali provides to both the retailers and riders is unbeatable. Kali helmets are top of the line products at very very affordable prices. The Maya will no doubt be the same great value. Pricing has not yet been set. But my order is already in!
