The Saguaro Tire is the hottest tire on the planet. On Bicycle World that is. Racers from ultra endurance to cross country and both 26" and 29'er are flocking to this tire. Even dirt jumper Casey Groves uses the Saguaro by Geax because of it's solid contact and grip. The Saguaro was evolved from the Arrojo with the same versatility and low rolling resistance.
A tyre that falls nicely between the Mezcal (dry, compact) and the Barro Mountain (wet, loose): Most riders prefer the 2.2 width as GEAX tires run slightly more narrow than the size indication.
The Bicycle World.TV Race team rode these tires to two victories and a third place in the 24 Hours of Fury, the 12 Hours of Papago and the 24 Hours of Old Pueblo this year already. If you're super weight concsious, choose the folding version. For those who are a bit harder on tires, go for the TNT - a bit more weight, but more peace of mind.
Bicycle Worlds own Jeff Herrera won the 2011 La Ruta De Los Conquistadores (30-39 division) and a 17th overall riding the Geax Saguaro .
